Fluegas scrubbing process

The flue gas is directed from boiler to Ehox –flue gas scrubber. At the first jet washing stage, the powerful jet sprays are used to effectively clean the flue gas from solids particles, Heavy metals particles as well as SO2- and HCl –content.

The effectivity of jet washing cycle is maintained by using integrated pre-clarifying of the washing liquid. By pre-clarifying, the solids content of washing cycle water remains very low, therefore resulting on no blockages on the nozzles and wearing of nozzles is minimized.

The sludge from the clarifying process is directed to post-processing, and it is replaced by the condensated water from the flue gas condensing process. Thus there is no need to add fresh water to the scrubber from outside during normal operating conditions.

By using integrated EHOX scrubber solution:

• Less or none blockages problems
• Less or no operation disturbances
• Less wearing
• Low requirement for maintenance
• Very low footprint area required.
